Accessibility for the Park ensures it is inclusive and usable for people of all ages and abilities. Accessible routes are integrated throughout the Park to provide continuity between arrival points, transport connections, event and gathering spaces, and recreational areas.

The design incorporates a range of features to support accessibility and user comfort, including:

  • Accessible seating and rest areas, including picnic zones and spectator spaces with wheelchair-accessible surfaces.
  • Shaded paths and gathering areas to improve comfort and usability.
  • Tactile ground surface indicators at key decision points, crossings, and stair interfaces to support safe navigation.
  • Clear wayfinding signage placed at accessible heights to support easy navigation.
  • Accessible entry points to all major public spaces and event areas, ensuring equitable access without the need for detours.

The lighting strategy for the precinct is designed to deliver a safe and high-quality environment at night. Primary pedestrian routes are evenly and safely lit to support everyday use and larger event conditions.

Toilets are located at ground level on either side of the lifts providing access to the amphitheatre area, as well as on all levels of the multi-use building.

A parent's room, sensory room, Changing Places facility, and showers will be located on the ground level of the multi-use building.
