Project Update - Introducing Perth Park

24 November 2025

A lot has been happening on the development of Perth’s premier sporting and entertainment precinct over the last few months, and we are now launching a second round of consultation to show the WA community the current designs and seek any further suggestions and ideas. The designs have been informed by community feedback from the previous consultation period as well as input from key stakeholders through the early design process.

We are also excited to let you know that the precinct will be named Perth Park. The name reflects the broader vision for the precinct, integrating seamlessly with the Stadium and showcasing exemplary parkland for community use. The Burswood Park Board will continue maintaining Perth Park alongside other Burswood Peninsula parks, including Charles Paterson Park and Kagoshima Park.

An independent business case by ACIL Allen has been completed. It found Perth Park will deliver more than $61 million in economic benefits each year, helping to diversify the WA economy, creating new jobs in tourism, sport and the arts.

We invite you to view the latest design, submit any new suggestions and ideas or view the business case summary and further project details at www.perthpark.wa.gov.au.
