The Park has been designed to encourage greater year-round use, with a range of new amenities for the community to enjoy.

A children’s play area adjacent to a new lake and urban forest will incorporate natural elements that encourage explorations and connection with the landscape, while outdoor fitness stations in the southeast of the Park will provide daily exercise options for a range of ages, abilities, and fitness levels.

Barbecue and picnic facilities will also be included in the Park, with new shared paths and limestone walking trails to make it easier for people to move around the precinct and connect to other major destinations in the area such as Optus Stadium and Crown.

A basketball half court will also be located next to the multi-use building, while open lawn spaces across the Park will encourage casual sport, recreation and social gathering.

Seating and shaded areas will also be incorporated across the park and positioned to take advantage of views, pedestrian paths, and activity areas.

A strong tree canopy is prioritised along the limestone walking trail, using a combination of retained vegetation and new native planting to provide shade, natural cooling, and enhanced amenity.
